iAdvocate Westminster Overview

iAdvocate Westminster is an immersive comparative government simulation that places students in the role of a Member of Parliament. From committee rooms to the parliamentary floor, participants draft legislation, build coalitions, and take part in a full legislative session where bills are debated, amended, and voted into law.

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, this experience is designed to help American students better understand and appreciate their own constitutional system by comparing it to a form of government that both influenced and contrasts with the American model.

Along the way, students must balance personal policy goals, party priorities, and political agreements—gaining a dynamic, hands-on understanding of how parliamentary systems actually work.
