Issues Advocacy
Learn to shape public policy by actively advocating for the values you believe in.
Equipping Students to Understand, Engage, and Influence the Policy Process
A core part of any citizen’s engagement with their government is understanding and impacting the policy process, be that legislative or administrative, federal or state. On occasion, in alignment with our core values, Project Pathfinder will advocate for those values in the legislative process. This is done as a means to educate our students in the policy process and to provide them with hands-on experience in doing so.
Project Pathfinder will, on occasion, engage in issues advocacy in support of the values below:
- The sanctity of life
- Personal responsibility
- The traditional family
- Limited government
- Religious freedom
- Economic freedom
- Justice for all
- Compassion for the poor and vulnerable
Students and families will be engaged in those advocacy efforts, giving them a front row seat and even direct participation in advocacy and the policy and law-making process. Both at the state and federal level, in the states and in DC.
