Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 1, 2026
Project Pathfinder (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates projectpathfinder.net and its affiliated program and registration pages. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit our website or register for our programs, and how it is used.
Project Pathfinder Statement of Privacy
Project Pathfinder is committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe, trustworthy online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the Project Pathfinder website and its affiliated registration and event platforms, and governs how we collect and use information. By using the Project Pathfinder website or registering for our programs, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of Your Personal Information
Project Pathfinder collects personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail address, home address, and telephone number when you register for a camp or program, contact us, or subscribe to our updates. Because our programs serve students ages 14–18, registration also involves collecting a parent or guardian’s contact information and consent.
Depending on the program, we may also collect:
- Camper age and grade level
- Emergency contact information
- Payment and billing information (processed through our registration partner, RegFox)
- Travel details you provide for shuttle coordination (such as flight arrival/departure times)
We also automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through tools such as the Facebook Pixel. This information helps us maintain the site, understand which pages are popular, and measure the effectiveness of our outreach.
If you disclose personal information through public forums, comment sections, or social media channels we maintain (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), that information may be visible to others. Project Pathfinder is not responsible for privacy practices on third-party sites we link to, including our registration platform, ticketing partners, or airline discount programs.
Use of Your Personal Information
We use your information to process camp registrations, communicate with you about your program, and deliver the services you’ve requested. We may also use your contact information to send you updates about future camps, events, or opportunities through Project Pathfinder — you can opt out of these communications at any time.
Project Pathfinder does not sell, rent, or lease camper or family contact lists to third parties.
We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf and are required to keep it confidential.
We do not disclose sensitive personal information (such as health, religious, or political information) beyond what is necessary to safely run our programs, without appropriate consent from you or your parent/guardian.
Third-Party Services
Our website uses or links to the following third-party platforms to operate our programs and services:
- Google Analytics – website traffic and usage analytics
- Meta Pixel – advertising and engagement tracking on Facebook and Instagram
- Jotform – online forms and data collection
- RegFox – camp and program registration and payment processing
- Stripe – payment processing
- Calendly – scheduling and appointment booking
- Printify – print-on-demand merchandise fulfillment (via our online store)
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your information. We encourage you to review their policies for details on their specific data practices.
Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Facebook Pixel, to personalize your experience and measure engagement with our content and advertising. You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings; declining cookies may limit some site features.
Security of Your Personal Information
Project Pathfinder takes reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Payment information is processed through RegFox’s secure, encrypted payment systems; Project Pathfinder does not directly store full payment card details.
Disclosure Required by Law
We may disclose your personal information without notice if required by law, legal process, or in a good-faith belief that doing so is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Project Pathfinder, our students, staff, or the public.
Donations and Donor Accounts
Donations made through our website are processed on behalf of the Project Pathfinder Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with Project Pathfinder. When you donate, we collect your full name, email address, and payment information, along with details about your gift (amount, frequency, and whether it is one-time or recurring).
If you use our donor portal to manage your giving, we store your donation history and use email verification (a one-time access code) to confirm your identity before granting access. For stock donations, you will be directed to a third-party platform, Stock Donator, which processes that information independently under its own privacy practices.
Photos and Program Content
During Pathfinder camps and intensive programs, students may be photographed or recorded for use in Project Pathfinder’s marketing materials, website, and social media. By registering, parents/guardians consent to this use unless they notify us otherwise in writing.
Changes to This Statement
Project Pathfinder may update this Statement of Privacy periodically. We encourage you to review it occasionally to stay informed about how we protect your information.
